..they miss perfect moments such as this:
By the way, I figured out by clicking randomly, that you can HACTUALLY alter the date of your blog. I wonder how far the blog will allow you to go back before the millenium bug gets you inside out.
Anyway, that's an experiment in time travel for the next blog. Look out there's a monster coming. Look out, there's a monster coming. Look out. There's a monster. Coming.
What next? I can't even rememer the original point as this was HACTUALLY leading somewhere, I'm sure of it..
Ah! Thats the one:
Tinker, Tinker's Witty Daughter, Steampunk, More Hysterics and Fiverr.com :)
Okay so the other day I saw the funniest thing I have seen on youtube possibly ever. I'm well aware that other people may not appreciate this in the same way that I did, however, fuck them. I'm not too sure what the actual story is since the sound is bad on this laptop - and in all honesty it was the leading clip that broke me for hours. So I kept on skiping back to that bit, as you do. Anyways, this:
And this - which is reminicent in a few ways of shows I've done in the past and the show we're currently building:
We found Tinker by browsing through Fiverr.com - which I think is a great place for getting affordable illustrations, logos, photo edits, stories.. and weirder stuff..! Anyways we spent a few hours clicking through gigs during a bottle of rum, at Davey's suggestion put "Steampunk" into the sites search facilty and so found Tinker's daughter, Sarah Q, selling him up for a few dollars. Check out the gig description here.
I can't be bothered to explain the message exchanges and to be quite frank they're more amusing if you read it yourself:
After this time I must point out I was already in stitches so when the next round of messages came through I couldn't even read them out loud. Here we go:
Thankyou Sarah Q! So for the final result we have Tinker with his own rendition of I am a River (as demonstrated above) which google tells me is a Foo Fighters song, however I've yet to listen to the full version as at the moment I am still enjoying hysterical ricochets from having Tinkers version stuck in my head.
Tinker does I am a River:
Tinker does The Crinan Canal in an Irish accent whilst juggling tatties:
I'm not sure but I think that is Bea Smith on one of the wall portraits. Anyone?
Okay so if any of my amazing blog followers - yes you, all 0.2 of you, listen up - have any suggestions as to how we can commision Tinker for his next round of his unique talent that knows boun ds but charcges right through them, please leave them in the comments section and if the CAptain see's fit then she will send on said commission and post it here.
Well done Sarah Q and Tinker!
